What is the first rule of buying windows? Order as soon as possible! This is true for Marvin or any other window manufacturer. Unless you’ve got prebuilt windows sitting in front of you that will work in your project, you can expect any window order to take longer than it should. This can hold up a project, which can be frustrating and costly. This is why ordering as soon as possible simply makes sense.


Marvin window prices are highly dependent on the order. The company provides basic models we’ll discuss below, but is better known for doing custom orders. It calls this program the “made to order” option. Not a very fancy name, but you can certainly tell what it is about! Marvin windows are, in general, higher priced windows. The company also usually prefers that professional installers be used and bids its projects that way. As a result, there really aren’t any set prices because the installer fees very. Regardless, you can expect to spend $600 or up on double hung windows and $750 on up on casement windows. Again, the prices are highly dependent on the window style, shape and size. Marvin tends to make high quality windows, so the money is often worth it.



When considering price issues, there are a couple of other approaches you can take to limiting the damage to your bank account. The first is to choose between materials. There are a host of different materials ranging from cheap vinyl to wood. Smaller windows in non-descript areas may not call for an expensive frame. Also, you should be getting estimates from a variety of window companies and installers. Things have been tight in construction the last few years and that means deals abound.

Marvin window prices tend to be higher than those of other companies in my opinion. That being said, you also tend to get a very high quality window from the company.
